My name is Tom Converse, and I am the Lead Videographer & Editor for Converse Productions. First off, congratulations on your engagement! As you may have read on my homepage, I work hard to personalize your wedding film to match your style and vision for your big day. To do this I need to get to know you as a couple, but I’ll let you get to know me first!

I am a father of 3 awesome and crazy kids, and have been happily married to my wife Lauren for 9 years. Our favorite thing to do is take beach vacations to OCNJ and Stone Harbor. I enjoy movies, playing guitar, concerts, spicy food, surfing, snowboarding, rock climbing, photography, and of course video! It’s pretty sweet having high quality equipment around the house to make home videos like this one, and this one!!! I LOVE my job because I get to spend an entire day with awesome couples on one of the best days of their lives. Not only that, but I get to document the whole thing so that they can relive their big day over and over. I basically get to make “happy tears” for a living.

My goal is to craft your dream wedding film by tailoring the planning, shooting, and post production specifically to you as a couple. My non-intrusive & personalized approach captures everything from the fine details to the special moments that make your day so unique. Candid, unique moments are what I love to show most in my films. I work with you to make sure your film has the “feel” you are looking for, whether it be emotional and dramatic, or bubbly and fun (or all of the above!) I am well aware that having someone follow you around all day with a video camera can sound daunting. That’s why I pride myself on doing as little “directing” as possible, while still capturing beautiful footage of your special day (from a comfortable distance!). No bright lights or big cameras in your face, and no stepping on your photographer’s toes. Photographers do A LOT of work with you leading up to the big day, and they have a tight schedule and a shot list to stick to. Therefore I do everything I can to work seamlessly alongside them. Humble brag… I have had countless photographers tell me how easy I am to work with, as well as countless couples tell me that it barely felt like I was even there.
